Rebels kill more than 20 in the Democratic Republic of Congo - Africa Feeds

More than 20 regular folks have been executed in an assault on a town in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Experts in the DRC have accused the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebel bunch for the assault.

Reports state the radicals initially assaulted an adversary gathering of Congolese civilian army individuals prior to slaughtering occupants in the town of Lisasa.

Neighborhood overseer Donat Kibwana, from the Beni domain in North Kivu region, put the “preliminary death toll” at 21.

In an announcement a neighborhood NGO Cepadho said 15 out of the 21 individuals murdered are women.

Reports state a wellbeing place was additionally stripped, while homes were determined to fire and a Catholic church defiled.

Nearby pioneer Kalunga Messo told the Reuters News Agency that the furnished men started shooting at the townspeople.

“Everything happened yesterday between 8pm and midnight. The armed men carried out the raid. They killed our brothers without mercy” he said.
