Heartbroken Rajkummar Rao mourns 'Kai Po Che!' co-star Asif Basra's demise - Times of India

Actor Rajkummar Rao has communicated his misery and stun over the death of his previous co-star Asif Basra.

According to ANI, the 53- year-old actor was discovered hanging in a private complex. “Forensic team is at the spot and police is investigating the matter,” SSP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan, Himachal Pradesh, said in an announcement.

Rajkummar, who imparted the screen to Asif, in the superhit film ‘Kai Po Che!’ alongside late Sushant Singh Rajput and Amit Sadh, took to his Twitter handle to share a photograph and a note that read, “Rest in Peace sir.”

Rajkummar’s tweet is one among the numerous that came in tonight since news broke of Asif’s lamentable passing. Everybody from previous co-stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan to Manjo Bhajpayee, Randeep Hooda and numerous companions including producer Imtiaz Ali, Onir, Hansal Mehta and numerous others conveyed their notes of sympathies and recalled the star for his extraordinary works and exhibitions.

As per reports, Basra took his by balancing himself with his pet canine’s rope.

In spite of the fact that it has been accounted for that he kicked the bucket by clear self destruction, police have affirmed that an examination concerning the reason for his death is in progress.

“The actor was found hanging when the police and a team of forensic experts arrived on the spot. The police are investigating the case and further details are awaited,” SSP Ranjan said.

As per the police, not long before the supposed self destruction, he had gotten back from a walk around the territory alongside his canine.

No self destruction note has been recuperated.

Over the range of twenty years, the actor has showed up in films like Black Friday, Jab We Met, Once Upon A Time in Mumbai, Kai Po Che and Ek Villain among others.
