FICCI FLO inks pact with IESC, IIM Shillong to mentor women entrepreneurs

Mumbai: FLO, the ladies wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), on Saturday said it has news24nationed a concurrence with Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong and Incubation and Enterprise Support Center (IESC) to coach business visionaries.

Under this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), FICCI FLO, IESC and IIM Shillong will mutually give direction and guide business people by encouraging a sustaining, informational and steady climate during the underlying and basic phases of beginning a business, hence empowering them to diminish the underlying startup costs and build up themselves in a more limited time span, as per an assertion.

“Through our public hatching cell we wish to construct a manageable biological system inside FLO (Ficci Ladies Organization), to recognize potential new businesses, ladies business visionaries and furnish them with the important direction and backing.

This would empower us to make a self-depending innovative environment for ladies, that enables them, makes them independent and encourages them become work makers and not simple occupation searchers,” FICCI FLO president Jahnabi Phookan said.

The MoU plans to give direction and coach sprouting business visionaries by encouraging a sustaining, informational and strong climate during the underlying and basic phases of beginning a business, accordingly empowering them to decrease the underlying beginning up costs and set up themselves in a more limited time period, IIM Shillong Board of Governors Chairman Shishir Kumar Bajoria added.
