After his dreamy wedding with the love of his life Natasha Dalal, Varun Dhawan is all set to dive into his work. The actor is reportedly all set to kick-start an elaborate schedule of his upcoming horror-comedy film, ‘Bhediya’ in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to a report in a news media, Varun will head to Arunachal Pradesh for a two-and-a-half-month schedule. This is his first horror-comedy film and he is completely invested in it. The actor has also informed his team that he won’t even be shooting for any commercials or promotional videos in the coming weeks. Varun wants to reportedly invest all this time in the workshops. The actor will be ditching brand shoots for the next three months.
Varun reportedly liked Amar Kaushik’s ‘Stree’ and was excited to do a film in a similar genre, helmed by the same director. The film will reportedly have a long schedule given the amount of VFX and prosthetics it will include. Varun, who will play a character close to a ghost for the first time, wants to give it his best.
The film marks Varun and Kriti Sanon’s on-screen reunion after the 2015 film ‘Dilwale’ directed by Rohit Shetty. ‘Bhediya’ also stars Abhishek Banerjee in an important role.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun has ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, alongside Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Neetu Kapoor in his kitty. He is also committed to Anurag Singh-helmed mass action film ‘Sanki’ and a biopic titled ‘Ekkis’ directed by Sriram Raghavan.
