Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma starrer ‘Roohi’ registered a drop in box office collection on Tuesday. The horror drama released in theatres with much fanfare, on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. According to the latest report on Boxofficeindia.com, ‘Roohi’ collected Rs 1.10-1.15 crore nett on its sixth day at the box office.
With this figure, the film has collected a total of approximately Rs 13.75 crore nett. ‘Roohi’ recorded a drop of around 10-15% from the previous day and is recording a regular weekday trend. The film is expected to collect a total of Rs 15.50 crore nett at the end of its first week at the box office. This Friday, gangster drama ‘Mumbai Saga’ is scheduled to hit the screens but the film may not affect the screen count of ‘Roohi’ as several films are getting an extended run at the box office due to lack of content. Going by the present trend, ‘Roohi’ is expected to sustain well in its second weekend.
Directed by Hardik Mehta, ‘Roohi’ is one of the first major Bollywood films to release post the COVID-19 lockdown.
